:iconDoctorWhoOne: Hi guy's. Seems from what I've read this morning, not one, but two British comedies from TV and film are set to be making a return, with TV's 'Blackadder' which ran from the 15th June 1983 to 2nd November 1989, and the Carry On films consisiting of 31 films between 1958 to 1992.
Sadly, the latter is said according to the Sun newspaper will be 'more politically correct' . . well, at least whoever is going to be making these new 'Carry On' film's is being honest about it ! . . me thou, I don't think 'Carry On' films could possibly work in this day and age, like 'Monty Python' films and the TV series, they are a product of their time, and in regards to 'Monty Python', a lot of the things said and done in those could not be done today without a load of old uproar for various reasons.
I'm happy for 'Blackadder' to be making a comeback, but 'Carry On' ? . . no, leave it alone.
Anyways, here's both stories from the Sun newspaper, and if your someone who is not familiar with
